Free Semi-Permanent Tattoo Workshop

Get some non-permanent ink for your doll in this quick and easy workshop.  Sam Szczesney-Dale of Nocturne Dolls will cover the materials and methods for giving your doll removable piercings and tattoos. At the end of the panel, you can give your doll a tattoo using pre-printed water decals and brush-on matte sealant.  Tattoos and sealant are removable with rubbing alcohol.

You must have a convention ticket to attend DollCon Dallas events.

Sew A Custom Doll Hat

Make a custom-sized hat for your doll! Choose from three fun animal designs (cat, frog, and axolotl). The workshop price includes all materials needed to make one hat out of felt in the size of your choice, plus a mini sewing kit to take home. Hats will require minor amounts of hand sewing–prior sewing knowledge is not required!

Elven Fantasy Faceup Workshop

Saturday, February 22, 2025

BRING YOUR OWN RESIN OR VINYL HEAD: $26.00
Cost includes materials and a brush set for you to take home.
You will be responsible for bringing a head to the workshop. Heads can be resin or vinyl but must have open eyeholes.

• Sam Szczesny-Dale of Nocturne Doll Studio will teach a fantasy faceup with a limited-choice palette so you can customize your eye shadow. You’ll also learn how to do a simple watercolor pencil tattoo. Soft pastels, watercolor pencils, sparkle powder, and acrylic gloss will be used. The instructor will do the sealant spraying. All materials except sealant will be provided in a mini faceup kit for you to take home.
• Heads MUST be blank.  Time and chemicals for faceup removal are not a part of the workshop.

Sleeping Beauties – A Vinyl Faceup Workshop

Jacob Hosey of Blank Space Dolls will teach beginners how to do a closed-eye faceup with a limited-choice palette so you can customize your eye shadow. You’ll also learn how to apply eyelashes.

Cost includes materials, a 60cm-sized vinyl head in pink skin tone with your choice of human or elf ears, and a mini faceup kit and brushes for you to take home.
