Meet Our Presenter, Codi Hite
Ever since I was a child, I have loved and played with dolls – from Barbie to American Girl to everything in between. As a child I collected dolls up until I was around 15 years old.
It wasn’t until I was 32 years old that I would start collecting again in earnest. I was watching YouTube one day and came across a community of people who restore old Barbies and make them beautiful again. I thought, “Wow! I’d like to do that!” That day, my mascot and favorite doll, Mina, was born – and the rest is history!
Today I enjoy restoring and making all manner of dolls – barbies, 18 inch dolls, resin dolls, and vinyl dolls. I reroot, make wigs, do faceups, and even sew for them! This hobby has brought me such great joy and given me some of the best friendships I could have ever hoped for. I truly love being a part of the doll community and can’t wait to share my love of rerooting with you all!
