Meet Our Presenter, Ros Bellenger
I am so stoked to be introducing myself to you all! Or, I should say y’all. I’m a born and raised Texan, growing up just outside Austin and now living in Austin. I’ve been a BJD owner for about 8 years. Umi here was my first doll, but I’ve been an admirer of BJDs since high school!
I have 10 years of experience working in technical theater, doing everything from building props, sets, and painting scenery to costuming dozens of dancing children! I also have a degree in fashion design from the University of Texas in Austin.
Now I take my love of intricate details and theatrical flair and merge them together to create miniature items for these beautiful dolls! My goal is to create items- be they props, clothing, or furniture- that create a more immersive experience for you and your dolls. I know you have come up with a detailed story for your dolls, because I have too! I want to help you flesh out that story and that world!
