Hello! Just doing a quick little intro to get us started. I’m Sam, the owner of Nocturne Doll Studio. I’ve been in the hobby since 2012 and got to know everyone down in the Dallas area back in 2015 or so. Even though I’m up in North Dakota right now, I consider the Dallas community to be one major half of my true doll family!

I attend DollCon Dallas each year as a vendor and guest faceup artist. I can’t wait to see you all for 2024!

Hello there! I like the idea of having an intro thread! 🙂 I’m so excited to see you both again next year!

I’m Elena, also known as Miraxe or Miraxedoll. I LOVE crafting. I sell the eyes, jewelry, tiaras, and wigs I make at DCD, and I also like to buy the awesome stuff everyone else makes. It’s not a shopping problem, it’s called stimulating the economy! ( ⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝) I also love to draw, and you may have left the con with my art in sticker form this year haha. Most of all, I love seeing all of the gorgeous and unique dolls that come through the DCD doors. I always forget just how many different types of dolls there are until you see so many collectors and their faves in hand at once!

Hello~

I’m LupusDarkmoon. I’ve been in the hobby since 2007. A few of you might remember me from the DFW BJD Dreams group, I had hosted an annual picnic meet for several years. Life made me take a hiatus from the hobby, but it’s good to be active again and it’s great to see familiar and new hobbyists. ^^

I haven’t been able to make it to DCD, but crossing my fingers for 2024. I’d love to go and meet everyone!

Hi everyone! My name is thesleepybjd or Dani! I’ve been in the hobby since 2017 and have lived in Texas my whole life! I’m hoping that since I’ve moved closer to the DFW area I’ll be able to attend meetups, and of course DCD!

Hello! I’m “A Maiden’s Kiss”! I’ve been in the hobby since 2006 and am from the Northeast, MA to be specific. This will make the second convention I’m participating in, having only done Resin Rose up until now! I’m excited to meet all of you! I do complete aesthetic work, from head to toe– wigs, faceups, body blushing/tattooing/mods, and clothing! For DCD I’ll have clothing and maybe some accessories available. The style I work within is generally alternative/gothic/romantic/edgy/femme/unsex. What a mouthful. I sew for only SD and larger.

Can’t wait to see you all next year!
